Ayodhya Airport is scheduled to commence regular flights from January 6, 2024. As the Ram Mandir Inauguration approaching, the Ayodhya administration anticipates a significant increase in visitors after the inauguration of the Ram Temple on January 22, 2024. Simultaneously, the ‘Maryada Purshottam Shriram International airport‘ in Ayodhya is in its final stages of phase-I and preparation for its opening in full swing.

Get ready to fly to the holy city Ayodhya! IndiGo announces its inaugural flight from Delhi on December 30, 2023, followed by regular flights starting January 6, 2024. This marks Ayodhya as the airline’s 86th domestic destination. Additionally, tri-weekly flights connecting Ahmedabad and Ayodhya are scheduled to commence on January 11, 2024.

As per statement by Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Airport.
